How to assign Main Page?

Go to AIOS Testmonials > Settings > Options > Main Page (Select the desire page).

How to use Custom Permalink?

Go to AIOS Testmonials > Settings > Options > Permalink.

⚠️

Warning

Permalink should be unique and not an existing page within the website to avoid any conflicts with the testimonials pagination.

Permalink is only applicable on testimonials that open on an inner page.

How to Create Custom Themes for AIOS Testimonials?

To create a custom theme for AIOS Testimonials, follow these steps:

Step 1. Download the Boilerplate Theme

Download the custom theme file from the AIOS Testimonials settings page by clicking on “Boilerplate”.

Step 2. Extract the theme zip file to either your child or parent theme.

Make sure that the file structure is organized correctly, with the “aios-testimonials” folder located within your theme’s root directory.
Example file structure: “aios-testimonials/my-custom-theme”.

Step 3. Customize Theme Assets

Customize your theme by editing the various files within the “aios-testimonials” folder. This includes modifying the CSS stylesheets, JavaScript files, and other assets to fit your desired design.

Step 4. Upload Your Custom Theme

Save the modified files and re-upload the “aios-testimonials” folder to your theme’s root directory.

Step 5. Enable Your Theme in Settings

Activate your custom theme in the AIOS Testimonials settings to see your changes take effect.

By following these steps, you can create a custom theme for AIOS Testimonials that reflects your unique style and branding.

How to publish inner pages?

Go to AIOS Testmonials > Settings > Options > Check Publish innerpages.

How does Re-Order works?

Re-Order is a 3rd party plugin. Any modification done on Re-Order will take effect on the testimonial widget on the homepage. All published testimonials will display on the Re-Order tab.

How Set as Featured option added to a Testimonial

Go to AIOS Testimonials > Add New Review > Switch On the Set as Featured
Go to AIOS Testimonials > AIOS Testimonials > Select a Testimonial you want then Switch On the Set as Featured

How many reviews can zillow pull?

The count of reviews you would like to return. If omitted, up to 3 are returned. 10 is maximum.

How to add image/video on a testimonial post?

Go to AIOS Testimonials > Add New Review > Featured Image > Upload Photo
Go to AIOS Testimonials > Add New Review > Set Link Type > Fill Video Link.

Note

If there is no featured image set and there is a video, it does not necessarily mean that the video thumbnail will set as the featured image.
Video Field only supports MP4, Youtube, and Vimeo Link just simply put the url it will be embedded automatically.

How to Setup Zillow

There are two way to run zillow on testimonials plugin.

1. Dynamic

Step 1. Navigate to Source Settings

Go to AIOS Testimonials > Settings > Options > Testimonials Source.

Step 2. Generate a Zillow API Key

Generate API Key Zillow Documentation .

Step 3. Enter API Credentials

Go to AIOS Testimonials > Settings > Options > Fill up API Key and Screen Name.

2. Shortcode .

Breadcrumbs Hierarchy

The Breadcrumbs Hierarchy feature allows you to display the selected main page from the plugin settings on the breadcrumbs.

Note

Please note that this feature will not be automatically activated on existing sites. However, during the initial setup of new websites, it will be activated by default. You can easily enable or disable it on the settings page as per your preference.

How to Setup Zillow Agents Review via Bridge API.

In the latest Zillow update, they now utilize Bridge Interactive for their reviews API. Follow the instructions below to set it up:

Step 1. Register for a Server Token

Obtain a Server Token by registering at https://bridgedataoutput.com/register (Note: Limit one token per client).

Step 2. Request API Access to Zillow Reviews

Once logged in, it is quick and easy to apply (API Access > Request Data Access > Zillow Group Datasets > Agree to the Zillow Data Terms of Use > Locate Zillow Agent Reviews > Click Apply.)

Step 3. Set Testimonials Source to Bridge API

Navigate to AIOS Testimonials > Settings > Options > Testimonials Source and set it to Bridge API.

Step 4. Input Credentials

Enter the Server Token and Screen Name (Note: Full Name is optional).

Step 5. Connect to the API

Click on “Connect Bridge API” and wait for the page to refresh; it should display a prompt confirming that the Bridge API is connected.

Step 6. Understand Caching Behavior

Note: After connecting, the information will be cached for 3 hours. If changes are made, the “Purge” button will appear to execute the cache clearance.

Bridge/Zillow asked me questions regarding API use. How should I reply?

Bridge/Zillow may ask you the following questions before they issue an API key.

Question: Are you requesting this for Personal or Business use?

Answer: Business use

Question: How would you integrate our data into your application, is this a mobile application?

Answer:

Answer: Sellers who would like to know the value of their home

Answer: The data will be used to give potential sellers a home value estimate.

Answer: No. (To client facer: ensure that the client is aware of this. Zillow will reject the application if this is set to YES).

Question: Is this a paid service?

Answer: No. The service is provided for free.

Question: Will you be storing data?

Answer: Yes, queried data will be transmitted via email and may be stored in our databases.

Question: Will you be displaying Zillow data as an as-is metric or combining it with other data to create a derivative work/calculation?

Answer: It will be displayed as an as-is metric.

Question: Where are you and your company located?

Answer: [Please input the client’s location]

Question: How many daily active users engage with this experience?

Answer: We expect an audience between 10 to 1000 per day.

Question: How did you hear about these datasets?

Answer: We have used Zillow’s Zestimate before.

Listing data is no longer included in the Zillow API. It is expected that certain details available on a Zillow property page and the Public Record API will not mirror each other. Coverage for any given data point, as well as update frequency, may differ between counties depending on how their data is made available.

What if an old module needs to be removed?

If the Testimonials module is part of your theme and needs to be removed, you can deregister its post type by navigating to AIOS Communities > Settings > Toggle Deregister Communities Module.

This action will not delete any data. If you need to restore the module, simply toggle it back on.
